There are multiple areas noted in your Study Guide.  We can review these areas during our session at your discretion, or you can use these resources at your leisure.  When or if we specifically address an item, it will  "disappear" from the list as a primary topic of study.  In this manner we can specifically address concerns about your communication skills and facility with the English language.
A useful purpose can be served by  improving your working vocabulary.  This can be done by looking up various words, |  using them in sentences, and examining the result.  This can help us work through various issues with parts of speech, articles, prepositions, pronunciation, pronouns, punctuation, etc.
Here are twelve words.  Please look them up and use each in a sentence.  Then we will use these sentences as part of our discussion of context, pronunciation, roots of words, and other communication ideas.
  • accordance n.:    accountancy n.   accountant n.   acquisition n.    adjustment n.
  • administration n.    administrative adj.   adviser (also advisor) n.    agenda n.
  • airline n.    allocate v.   allocation n.
3.  Pronoun Agreement
If you can find the time and patience to do these, our review of the ones you miss will be very helpful.
Joshua... Please print the handout first.  Then keep track of your progress on it.  Bring in a record of which ones you missed,  and we will review only those... so that you understand the dynamics of pronoun use.

These exercises were created with Hot Potatoes software. To download the handouts, you must have Adobe Reader on your computer.
