Fifth Monday Labor Radio Show on July 31st, 2006! 
Tune in for Progressive Perspectives, Social change, Civic Commitment, & Union Solidarity... 
Our topic:  "Working Families,  Working Women, and Working for Justice"          
                                      co-hosted by Lane Poncy and Tim Flanagan..  Lane is back from Guatemala and will have some ideas to share regarding the relationship which is developing between Guatemalan Women and Union Activists in America. 
Beth Myers the executive director of *STITCH, will call in during the show to discuss how these relationships are nurtured. 
Michael Morrow will join us, he is Vice President of the Committee on Political Education for Portland Community College Faculty Federation Local 2277. 
Barbara Dudley will also join us. 
Barbara is a  Professor of Political Science at Portland State University.   The Oregon AFL-CIO is among the supporters helping to organize the Oregon Working Families Party. Barbara is a primary organizer.   “We’re in favor of a living wage, a minimum wage that a family actually can live on. We’re in favor of well-funded quality public education.”
 
We will have a lively discussion of union perspectives!
