Regarding your final paper in the Reading and Writing 80 class. 
This paper will be three to five pages. Your name, Writing and Reading 80, and
the date will be at the top right side of the page. The first page will not be numbered,
but other pages will include your last name, a comma, and a page number at the top right.
The pages should be in 10 or 12 point type, double-spaced. 

In this paper you will be expected to clearly state a thesis on an appropriate topic.
Here are some possible topics, but you are welcome to choose your own.
You will then present evidence to support your thesis, show how the evidence
supports your main idea, and illustrate why opposing views are contradicted by the
evidence. You will be expected to write at a college level.  After your first draft, you
will be expected to Fine-Tune Your Essay.  Your submitted paper should be clear,
coherent, and grammatically correct. It would be good to begin Planning and starting

This paper will represent 30% of your grade for this course.
