Well Arts Institute Presents:

Sharing War Secrets... Oregon vets with PTSD create theatre about their experiences

We hope to see you at Well Arts Institute’s upcoming production:  Sharing War Secrets: Oregon Veterans Redeem Memories from Darkness. We would be delighted for you to pass this on to anyone you think would be interested in seeing this. I’ve attached the press release for more information, but the gist of it is below.

Sharing War Secrets is a staged reading of dramatic pieces written by veterans of Vietnam and the first Gulf War living with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, plus dramatized poetry.

"Recovery from PTSD takes us along a road lined with the gamut of emotion from grief and anger to hope and love,” says Sean Lewis, an Army veteran from the first Gulf War and author, who is also acting in this production. “Sharing our stories creates community. Retelling these stories now helps our community support and welcome veterans coming home from Iraq and Afghanistan."
