For our next meeting, perhaps  at 9 am on Friday, August 25

Please write a two-page, double-paced, paper on some topic you have a definite opinion about.  Here are some more to choose from.  What is most important is that you find a main idea or opinion and support it with rhetoric.  Or choose any other topic where you have a firm opinion to communicate.

The paper should be double-spaced and include a title.  Your name should be at the top right of the first page...  and your last name followed by a page number at the top right of the next page.  (Gokara, 2)

We will focus on sentence structure, prepositions, and commas next week...

If you have any questions, my phone number is 503-697-1670 and my e-mail is Tim@writingresource.org
You have interest in Finance and Business Administration  and are in your first year of study at the University of Portland.  (Campus Calendar)
Look up these vocabulary words in a dictionary and/or thesaurus.  Check their pronunciation if necessary.  Use each word properly in a sentence..   Be sure to take note of what part of speech the word is.  And be prepared to tell me what the word means.
