"I'm really impressed with what DFA is doing to involve the grassroots community and engage people [in] this election."  Whether he is your candidate or not, that's a big compliment from Senator Barack Obama to you. Why the big shout out from the Senator from Illinois?  Because Democracy for America members like you demanded all the Democratic candidates share their plan to stop global warming, encourage conservation and invest in renewable resources.

Our habitat is melting. Will you take action to save us?
Polar bears are in big trouble these days -- and they need our help. The sea ice that they need to survive is disappearing at an alarming rate; scientists say it could be completely gone by the year 2040.

In response to this crisis, the United States Fish & Wildlife Service has now proposed listing the polar bear as endangered, and invited comments from the public on this proposal. The comment period ends this Monday, April 9th -- so submit your comment today!

Submit YOUR comment and tell the Fish & Wildlife Service to protect the polar bear AND its habitat.

Last month, 10 major companies -- including BP, DuPont, Florida Power & Light and General Electric -- signed onto a joint policy proposal aimed at reducing global warming emissions.

...We will need clear, strong leadership from our elected officials if we are to take on global warming, perhaps the biggest challenge in human history. CEOs at companies such as Wal-Mart, General Electric, BP and DuPont have started to talk the talk on global warming. Now it's time for them to walk the walk.
