Olive Branch Olive Oil comes directly from the Palestinian Agricultural Relief Committees (PARC) http://www.pal-arc.org, a non-profit, non-governmental organization in the West Bank.  PARC is a member of the International Fair Trade Association, and is the only Palestinian organization that has received the Palestine Standards Institution certification for its olive oil.  www.olivebrancholiveoil.com
2008 has been, and continues to be a difficult economic year, but it has been an American tradition to pull together during the hard times.  Here are some ideas for giving.  Between Thanksgiving and December, these are worthwhile causes.  Do what you can, when you can.

This fact sheet discusses changes from summer 2006 legislation that "offers older owners of individual retirement accounts [IRAs] a new way to give to charity. It also includes rules designed to provide both taxpayers and the government greater certainty in determining what may be deducted as a charitable contribution."
