So...
These
people feel it is OK to lie to America to start a war we knew could
precipitate civil war...
When will congress act?
How much further must this
nation slide down this precipitous slope?
We are in
a gutter with liars and law-breakers who condone torture,
lobby for extrajudicial execution,
illegally wiretap Americans,
cost American lives, and undermine our nation.
Why do our leaders feel entitled to ignore the law?
When did
corporations begin to arbitrarily liquidate legal commitments
and contracts without oversight or sanction?
Who's in charge?
When did our constitution become an inconvenient scrap of paper?
By what bizarre
rationalizations have these thugs
betrayed allies, abrogated treaties, and forfeited credibility?
Where are the honest, decent, fair-minded,
and trustworthy public servants we need and deserve?
How can we restore the rule of law and our reputation?
Anyone who does not understand that we have a problem, is not
paying attention.
We need responsible leaders, competent administrators, and
prudent priorities.
Abject surrender to corporate dictate is not acceptable
national policy.
We must remember who we are and remind
public servants who they work for.
If they continue to serve themselves and
corporate sponsors,
average Americans will suffer and our nation will continue its decline.
If we don't act now, then when?
When we are forced to apply for foreign-aid and debt-relief
from India, China, and corporate trans-nationals?
When that
time comes, we may have to cancel plans, scrap the suspended constitution, and curtail
civil rights,
but I guess that comes with
the territory... Our leaders have surrendered our principles to situational
ethics
and the law of the jungle. If we allow this to
continue, we know what to expect. It's wake-up time.
