tutors at my office in Portland, and can provide them for tutoring at various locations throughout
Multnomah, Washington, and Clackamas counties. If you need SAT prep, take a look at the pages above, or make an
appointment. And let me know when you need work with reading, writing, study
skills, history, etc...

For our next writing session, please bring in
a writing sample or current assignment from school. Or, if you have
time, type a two page paper on a topic of your choice. The paper should be
double-spaced, with a
title and a page number on the second page. We will begin to
explore the various forms of the essay during this term.

The

to write effectively. They can supplement any secondary, college, or
graduate-level writing project. If you would like to obtain either book,
click at left. The Writers Harbrace Handbook is a basic guide and rulebook for writers. It has particularly useful resources on rhetoric.
Adventures in writing is designed as a practical guide for the writing
process. The book is designed for anyone who wants to improve their
writing, including students from non-English based learning environments.
