Sticking to the Union, Artists, Actors, Writers, Photographers, Poets,
Musicians, Historians and
many others will present
their work in exhibits,
panels, and performances in
celebration of our brothers
and sisters who paved the
way for organized labor,
civil rights, and our
democracy. These creative
artists are still in the
forefront of maintaining the
gains we have won and are
fighting for a future where
everyone can share in the
bounty of all we have
labored for.
There will be historical art
works from the
Federal Art Project of the
Works Progress
Administration (WPA.)
incredible paintings by Ruth
Patterson Hart (1910-2001)
and
Martina Gangle Curl(1906-1994).
There will be
recent
Prints
from ASARO (Oaxacan Assembly
of Revolutionary Artists),
Native American Art and
Muralists speakers, thus a
collection of local and
international artists,
including Anne Feeney’s
husband internationally
acclaimed Swedish artist
Julie Leonardsson,
just to mention a few.

Labor Council,
comprised of nearly 100
union locals with
approximately 50,000 union
members;
KBOO - 90.7 FM;
Students United for
Nonviolence (SUN);
Pacific Islanders Club

national labor and community
