Sally McCracken Christmas Dinner

Sponsored by Phi Theta Kappa

This year, students of the Cascade Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa will be carrying on the tradition of volunteering their time on Christmas Day to cook and serve dinner to the residents of the Sally McCracken House in downtown Portland.  The Sally McCracken House is a transitional home for recovering addicts.

Phi Theta Kappa is asking for your assistance in the donation of food items, your time cooking a turkey or ham at your home (they may be dropped off at Sally McCracken), or volunteer time cooking and serving at the home on Christmas day.  Anything helps!  We will have volunteers coming and going in between the hours of 8am-4pm.

If you would like to help, you may respond to this email, or contact Kelly Ralph, the PTK President for Cascade, at kelly.ralph15@pcc.edu

to let us know what you are able to do.

We are looking for the following food items:

Turkeys, Hams, Rolls, Pies, Potatoes

Vegetables, Condiments

We ask that donations be brought to the Student Lounge (SC 03).  If you are not able to donate food, we will gladly take cash donations.  We greatly appreciate your precious time and donations.

Sincerely,  Kelly Ralph,
2008-2009 Phi Theta Kappa President
