This year, students of
the Cascade Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa will be carrying on the tradition
of volunteering their time on Christmas Day to cook and serve dinner to
the residents of the Sally McCraken House in downtown Portland. The Sally McCraken House is a
transitional home for recovering addicts.
Phi Theta Kappa is
asking for your assistance in the donation of food items, your time
cooking a turkey or ham at your home (they may be dropped off at Sally
McCraken) or volunteer time cooking and serving at the home that day.
Anything helps! We will have volunteers coming and going in between the
hours of 8am-4:30pm.

able to donate food, we will take cash donations. We greatly appreciate

Located 532 NW Everett, Portland, OR97209. It provides an
alcohol and drug free environment that is supportive of long term
recovery form alcohol and drug dependence. It is single room occupancy
for homeless individuals in recovery.
