I
was born in St. Louis, Missouri. For the past seven and a half years I have lived in Oregon, mostly
in
Lake Oswego. (Currently in SE Portland) I like to read, write, teach, tutor, edit, and publish. For
relaxation I enjoy writing, reading, bicycling,
gardening, and playing
chess,
cribbage, or pool.
My primary passions in life are writing, teaching, learning,
research,
social change, and civic-commitment.
