There once was a boy named Greg. He lived with his single mom, Margot, in a two bedroom apartment. In his room he had posters of his favorite stars, a race car bed, and a bunch of toys. This is normal for a five year old boy, but for a guy in his thirties, it’s just plain weird. He never has lived on his own. His mom treated him like he was five years old. She even made his bedtime eight o’ clock, (which didn’t matter because he had only five friends).

He went to college to be an engineer, but ended up quitting because it was too hard. He works for his uncle in a restaurant as a janitor making $8.00 an hour. He spends his day cleaning up after people. He hates his job, but is afraid to try to get a new job.

One day Margot met a guy, named Fred. They went on a couple dates before deciding to get married. Margot and Fred got married one month later. Margot moved into Fred’s three bedroom penthouse, leaving Greg her apartment. A thirty year old man should be happy to have a new apartment. But Greg wasn’t. He was scared to be all alone, and sad that his mother had left him. His friend Joe decided to cheer him up. Joe called him up to see if Greg wanted to hang out. After about a half an hour of begging, Greg decided to go out. Joe took Greg to a place he had never been to, a bar Joe ordered two beers, which Greg refused to drink. Joe asked if there was anything else he wanted. Greg mentioned that he had never had alcohol before. “NEVER HAD ALCOHOL?”  Asked  Joe. Joe was shocked. When Joe asked why, Greg answered “My mom would never let me.”

Joe told Greg that he is a thirty year old man. His mother can’t control his life anymore. So Joe decided to show Greg how to be independent. So the two men headed over to Greg’s house and the first thing they did was redecorate. Greg and Joe took down all his mom’s paintings and put up some posters. Then they went out and bought a big screen TV and a PS3. That night Greg threw a party and invited all the building residents. After the party he had a ton of friends. So Greg went out to buy his first cell phone. He got the Sidekick 4 with Internet, text, and aim. Greg quitted his job as a janitor, and went to an interview for as a business manger position. The guy decided to give Greg a chance. Greg started working the next week and ended up doing a great job. He now makes $15.00 an hour for just sitting around and doing nothing. While at work, Greg meets a girl named Veronica. The two of them talk for a while.

After their talk Greg asks Veronica out and she accepts. Greg takes her to a fancy restaurant. They talk for a while and then switched numbers. After a while of seeing each other, they became boyfriend-girlfriend. The months turned into years, and things were getting serious. Two years later Greg popped the question. The two love birds got married that next June. The newly weds got a big house with a huge yard. Greg’s mom was so happy that his son had finally grown up. Greg and his wife lived a happy life with many kids.
