Trickle Down Economics,
Voodoo Economics, etc..
Trickle-down
economics have never
worked... George Herbert Walker Bush cynically called them Voodoo
economics... even though he was a primary enabler for these
wrong-headed policies...
History speaks. We know
that when speculators are allowed to operate without adequate
regulations and oversight, that they can completely destroy our
economic system... and they will. Studious ignorance, by
Greenspan, Cheney, Bush, or anyone else... has consequences.
Now we must
clean up the mess. Clearly the way to fix this problem is to
provide American workers with jobs so they can pay their bills and
have money to spend. If we expect to remain competitive in a
globally-interconnected marketplace, we must upgrade our
infrastructure and invest in America. We know that providing
corporate welfare has not created jobs. We know that allowing
corporations who have defrauded the American people to bid on
contracts, has resulted in additional fraud and corruption. The fox
guarding the henhouse has not worked.
Our corporate partners
need to obey the law and our regulatory agencies need to do their
jobs. Our new president and congress must reestablish
constitutional supremacy and reestablish the rule of law in
America. Our first priority in the first 100 days of the next
administration will be to restore habeas corpus and abandon all
unconstitutional initiatives which this administration has
sponsored.
only then can we begin reconstruction, restitution, and
revitalization of our nation.
Most of us feel we have been
tricked and trickled on long enough. It is time for this class
war to end.
