enforce no-bid, cost-plus corporate giveaways is bad for America.  It's time for accountability.   We must rebid,
 redeploy, and rebuild using reparations from war profiteers.  One person makes a difference.  Get active!

  • Organize a local demonstration in front of an Israeli consulate or U.S. federal building. If you can't organize one, attend one.
  • Call your Senators!  CALL, don't email. Go to www.congress.org to find contact numbers. Tell them to put pressure on Israel for a ceasefire now and to end the occupation.
  • Write letters to the editor of your local paper. 
  • Call the Obama/Biden Transition Office at 202-540-3000, press 2 to speak to staff member. Tell them the U.S. needs a new Middle East policy, which holds Israel as well
    the Palestinian people accountable to international law, UN resolutions, and human rights.  Tell them the U.S. should support Israel, but should not allow that support to be used for avoidable preemptive aggression.  The billions of dollars we provide Israel every year
    should not be used for purposes which contradict treaties we have signed.
    The time is right for President-elect Obama to hear from the peace community.
  • Finally, pray for the people of Gaza and Israel, for all Palestinians and Israelis, and for all  people subjected to violence, oppression, and poverty.  The people of Israel must  convince their leaders to do justice, walk humbly with God, and honor Jewish and International Laws.  The Palestinians must resist through nonviolent means.  The occupation needs to be ended, and it can end-with our help and support!

 The right to organize    
 is a fundamental
workplace human right.
It is the expression of a right to freedom of association. Employees are entitled to work collectively on common issues. The right to organize is also the tool which is used to create many other workplace rights. For example, American workers are employed "at will" and can be fired without a legitimate reason. Union members, however, can only be fired for "just cause" because they have achieved this right through collective bargaining.  Find out more and get involved.
