Hello Union Brothers and Sisters,

The only reason I was able to get a refund on my state tax this year was because I donated money to COPE and was able to get a $50.00 tax credit, so instead of owing $9.00, I got a refund of $41.00.

You too could contribute to the AFT Political Action Fund (COPE) and get all that you contribute back on your state income tax next April. It can be as easy as $4 per pay check.  The COPE money is used to help education and public employee friendly representatives get elected so that OUR VOICE can be heard.

If you would like more information on how this works let me know, and you too could be getting more money back from the state. Would you like $50.00 or $100.00!
