to honor the 2,000 soldiers who have died in Iraq.  Together, we can remember and honor the fallen.

Description Join a solemn candelight vigil to acknowledge the loss of our 2000th American troop. Number 538 was my nephew, PFC William Ramirez. He was killed in Baghdad February 11, 2004 at 19 years old. We'll meet at the corner of 7th and John Adams (by the Carnegie Center)at 6:30 PM, light our candles and line up along 7th Avenue. Please bring weather proof candles and signs calling for peace and an end to this war.

Description Living Earth is calling this vigil to bear witness to every death in this war, and our determination that this war must end. Never mind MoveOn's limit of 500-- we had 3000 out three weeks ago and we can have 5000 or more this time. No limit to how many oppose this war and grieve every death.
