Vision into Action Coalition seeking volunteers!

On September 19, 2007 Mayor Tom Potter announced that visionPDX would begin building a Vision into Action Coalition to organize community groups, government, businesses and other partners willing to work collaboratively on ideas expressed in our community vision (http://www.visionpdx.com/reading_room/vision_document/).

We are currently seeking community members who are interested in serving on the Vision into Action Coalition's Steering Committee. The Steering Committee will be comprised of 15-20 people who reflect Portlanders' diverse cultures, perspectives and experiences. Committee members will come from a variety of backgrounds, from business people and neighborhood advocates to educators, artists and government employees. Those interested in serving on the Steering Committee are asked to apply for consideration (for full instructions, see the attached announcement).
